The referendum is over. We're just getting started.
"Keep going!"
Honesty in public debate matters
You can help us take action – and get our regular free email
That's what you all told us, and that's what we want to do—but we can't.
The referendum result means we’re now at the start, not the end, of a long public debate over how we leave the EU.
Independent facts and factchecking are going to be needed now more than ever and we won't be able to deliver without you.
Only 80 donors support us with a regular donation, and although we are forever grateful to them, it's not enough for us to keep up in these extraordinary circumstances.
To ensure that we can work at full capacity all year round, we need 1,000 people to give £10 a month. Are you one of them? This will allow us to reach more people outside the political bubble, and make sure the facts hit home, fast.
I will give £10 a month to keep you going
More people need factchecking and we must reach them
Full Fact must grow. We need to train new factcheckers, work faster and check more claims. As well as research we have to spend more time communicating our work as effectively as we can to reach people outside the political bubble.
Factchecking is the beginning, action is the end goal
In the middle of our busy, rowdy democracy, we need to make sure there are mechanisms for correcting inaccurate claims that have real world impact. We want to embolden the organisations that have the necessary powers to act on them.
We will slow down if we don't have the funding to carry on
We only achieved as much as we did because we had specific funding to cover the EU referendum. You can read more about how we used that money.
We had ten times the traffic, we reached millions of new people, we had just about every major media outlet coming to us. We were able to serve all these people because we had enough resource to build relationships with leading experts around the country, and to translate their knowledge into compelling content. But we can't afford to slow down.
So if you want us to keep going, we're asking you to help us now
We are asking you for a regular commitment to help us pioneer this work. The referendum result means we’re now at the start, not the end, of a long public debate over how we leave the EU.
To ensure that we can work at full capacity all year round, we need 1,000 people to give £10 a month.

Other ways to help
You can also support us with a £5 a month donation instead or a one-off donation of your choosing. If you can't make a donation at this time liking us on Facebook and Twitter, and sharing our factchecks would be another way of supporting us. Thank you!
